Uri Sanhedrai is a Registered Clinical Counsellor & Therapist in Private Practice on the North Shore, providing Counselling, Therapy, Coaching and Consultation to individual adults, groups and businesses. House calls can be arranged for individuals with limited mobility.

Uri treats adults who are burdened by unresolved, distressing early-life events and trauma, separation, adoption complication, identity issues, difficult aging and related family problems. He attends to issues associated with physical, emotional and mental disorders, as well as those related to normal development.

Uri helps optimize both personal and interpersonal functioning in relationships, socialization, intimacy, family, parenting, work, school, spirituality and self-nurturing. He helps individuals alleviate distress and maladjustment, resolve crisis and enhance their ability to live more functional and satisfying lives.

Uri holds an M.A. degree in Counselling Psychology with a specialty in Art Therapy from the Adler School of Professional Psychology (Chicago), a B.A. degree in Communication Arts from the Gerrit Reitveld Academie (Amsterdam) and post-graduate certification in Working With An Aging Population from the University of British Columbia (Vancouver). He draws from in-depth experience in issues associated with attachment, adoption, early-life trauma and post-traumatic-stress in adults, and he has extensive experience in developing programs, presentations and workshops, teaching, coaching and consulting to organizations and individuals on Identity issues in Canada, the U.S, Europe and Israel.

Uri collaborates with relevant supporting health and well-being professionals to ensure the best possible care for his clients.

Utilizing art therapy as an assessment, therapeutic and crisis intervention tool, Uri also offers support and collaboration on a “piece-by-piece” basis to clients and professional colleagues.
