With 20 years experience as an individual and marital counsellor,  facilitator and Self-Regulaiton therapist  Sylvia brings proven skills and radiant energy in helping people transform major life challenges into opportunities for renewal, connection and growth.

• developmental trauma issues such as insecure attachment, substance use, process addiction, relational crisis, anxiety and spiritual pain

With her Metis heritage Sylvia understands Aboriginal issues and concerns as a natural consequence of government and historical abuse,multiple losses and  neglect. She brings strong intention and compassionate work in this area.

Sylvia has in-depth clinical experience and has completed extensive programs in the areas of trauma and trauma recovery with emphasis on attachment and the neurobiology of trauma. She is currently developing Somatic Transformation with Dr. Sharon Stanley. This highly creative approach effectively engages the art and neuroscience of healing trauma,

Her special gift for you is the use of empathy, attunement and earth-energy therapy to heal  disconnection and soul loss due to relational trauma. Sylvia has traveled briefly in Tanzania,  supporting Maasai women in micro-lending businesses and  education for young girls. She also did brief studies in India  in Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy.
