I have a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology from City University of Seattle and am a Registered Clinical Counsellor, a member in good standing of the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors. In my practice, I offer counselling and therapy to individuals, couples and families.

What My Counselling Can Offer You

I believe that you are the expert in your life - no one knows you better than you do! Sometimes, life-events can present us with challenges that leave us unable to proceed, unable to access our inner knowing. The counselling process offers you the space to safely explore your thoughts and feelings, so that you are able to "hear" yourself more clearly. As your guide through this investigation, I will suggest resources and tools to support your process, but my main focus will be to help you recover your own solutions and expertise.

For Couples and Families

It is so important to be able to air your concerns in a safe and supported place. Being able to do so allows you to listen to each other, which can lead to greater intimacy and freedom in your relationship. Being able to process and problem-solve together can help you find new ways to appreciate your strengths as a team. I offer counselling for a variety of life transitions (e.g., marriage, birth, separation) and specific challenges (e.g., trauma, loss, parenting issues).

Cross-Cultural Counselling

As a Third Culture Kid (TCK), I was raised in four countries on three continents. I have expertise working with clients who have experienced multiple cultures. Issues have included: cross-cultural couples counselling; finding a sense of home; finding ways to parent children being raised in North America; dealing with racism and other forms of discrimination; making sense of a multiracial identity.

Initial 30 minute consultations are offered.
