Additional Information about this counsellor or psychologist:

I believe in the uniqueness of each individual and his or her ultimate potential to grow and change. As a psychologist, my orientation is Humanistic/Integral. While my integral psychology orientation allows me to draw from a variety of therapeutic orientations depending on the issues you would like to work on, my humanistic philosophy focuses on your strengths and resources and assists me in providing a safe and healing space in which self-exploration, growth, and change can take place.

I mainly work with adolescents and adults. I have had the privilege to be of help to individuals who have experienced trauma and depression. Other areas that have been my focus include grief, social anxiety, family or relationship problems, work problems, self-esteem, gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered issues, living with HIV or AIDS, personal and/or spiritual growth, mindfulness skills, and communication skills. I have also worked with individuals from various cultural backgrounds and nationalities and have experience in identifying and resolving concerns that may be related to immigration, being a refugee, and adapting to a new cultural environment.
