I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor working in private practice in Downtown Vancouver, BC, Canada.

I work with couples, families, adults, individuals and children and I welcome people of all genders and sexualities.I provide long term or short term therapy and I am available daytime and in the evenings during the week as well as on Saturdays.

I have been specifically trained in Relationship/Couple Therapy as well as Family Therapy as a Marriage and Family Therapist.

I also have a strong focus on working with individuals and couples struggling with issues related to trauma and childhood sexual abuse.

I am an experiential therapist and I work from a bio-psycho-social-spiritual and strengths based framework of change, drawing on attachment theory, emotion focused therapy, and family systems theory within a multicultural framework. I also use cognitive behavioral and solution focused therapy in my work. I have over 15 years of experience in the mental health field.

Leslie Malchy holds a Master of Science degree in Psychiatry from McGill University and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University Seattle. She is currently a member of the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counselors (RCC #3958) and the British Columbia Division of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
