Lindsey is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Simon Fraser University. Over the last eight years, Lindsey has worked successfully with children, teenagers, adults of all ages, couples, families and groups. Lindsey believes in working collaboratively with her clients and empowering them to make important changes in their lives. She is passionate about her work and is also committed to continuous growth and learning in her professional and personal life.

Lindsey provides her clients an empathic and non-judgmental counselling experience, where individual differences and stories are embraced and stories of success and resilience are created.

Her background is in Narrative Therapy and she has developed a thoughtful and effective way to also incorporate evidence-based practices such as Mindfulness, Emotion Focused Therapy and CBT into her work.

She has worked as a family counsellor with Family Services of Greater Vancouver, as a clinical addictions counsellor at Maple Ridge Treatment Center, as a group facilitator for parents of children with Down syndrome at the Down Syndrome Research Foundation and as a counsellor at SHARE Family & Community Services.

Lindsey's role as a mother of twins and stepmother of two has enrichened both her personal and professional lives. Both the challenges and blessings have allowed her new perspectives to draw on in her work.
