My approach is compassionate with individuals - adults and adolescents; couples; and parent-child communication, including parenting after separation. I provide a safe therapeutic environment in which you are able to gain significant self-awareness,  communication tools to increase intimacy with your partner and family, and techniques for transforming depression and anxiety into clarity, hope and direction.

My 20 + years experience includes work with a diversity of cultures, mental health issues, and personal development challenges.  I have worked in crisis intervention, drug and alcohol programs, Family Services VISAC with children and families surviving sexual abuse, and I have taught courses through the Vancouver School Board in communication, goal achievement, and finding and enhancing relationships. I am a masters degree Registered Clinical Counsellor, and my qualifications include Certification in Chemical Dependency. I am an advanced level II EMDR practitioner and have, for several years, helped clients to gain relief from symptoms of trauma from accidents, and childhood abuse including sexual abuse.
