My goal is to assist adults who are struggling with relationship issues. This includes individuals and couples in the process of separation and divorce. I help promote understanding of why we often "mis-hear" the important messages we give one another (and choose the wrong time to discuss them...)Then we can begin to clarify underlying problems and move on to develop healthier relationships - not just with our partners, but also with our families and co-workers.

My philosophy grows from a combination of professional and personal interests. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with an M.Ed. degree in counselling psychology (UBC), I have been counselling individuals and couples for more than 15 years.

Married for many years, which included a period of separation, I have raised two children with my husband, and we are now grandparents to two granddaughters. Having our third generation coming along has helped give me more perspective on the struggles families face today, and how important it is that we keep the lines of communication open.
