Dr. Carr (Ph.D., McGill, 1985) is a Registered Psychologist (#953) who offers psychotherapy for adults and children who are experiencing a wide variety of emotional difficulties, including problems with depression, anxiety, traumatic experiences, stress, past abuse, grief, anger, assertiveness, self-esteem, self-hatred, communication, and impulsive behaviour. He works with people individually, as couples, or as families and has had formal training in each of these. He is a Registered Play Therapist (#245) and provides play therapy for children. His work is informed by current research, and emphasizes respect and compassion for his clients.

Client difficulties usually include emotional, cognitive, and behavioural aspects, and he addresses each of these, drawing from psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioural, humanistic, and EMDR perspectives.
