I believe that each individual is the ultimate expert on their life. As a result, I view my role as a counsellor is to work collaboratively with you to help you heal and/or make the changes that you desire.

I provide a safe, nonjudgmental, and empowering environment for you to share, discuss and explore your experiences, thoughts, feelings, beliefs, relationships, and behaviors that are causing you pain. I use a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, compassion-focused therapy, emotion-focused therapy, schema-therapy, attachment theory, and Buddhist psychology to help ease your suffering.

I am a registered clinical counsellor who works with adults. I am also a registered nurse and social worker. I bring over 15 years experience in community and hospital mental health settings to my private practice.
