Dr. Elsie DeVita is a psychotherapist, registered with the B.C. College of Psychologists. She is also a member of the B.C. Psychological Association and the Canadian Psychological Association. Elsie has worked in private practice since 1997 providing psychological services to individuals, couples, families and groups for a variety of problems including trauma, depression, past and current abuse and relationship concerns. Elsie teaches counselling and provides clinical supervision to counsellors-in-training at the University of British Columbia.

Several times a year, Elsie facilitates a 6 week relationship exploration group for men and women. Her approach to psychotherapy focuses on the role of the therapeutic relationship to explore painful experiences including thoughts, feelings and behaviours to facilitate healing and support authentic relating.
