I’m Dr. Aaron Lautzenhiser (or just “Dr. Aaron” for short!). I’m a registered psychologist, trained in neuropsychology and psychotherapy.

I conduct neuropsychological and psycho-educational assessments with children and adults for difficulties such as learning disabilities, ADD and ADHD, memory problems, FASD, intellectual disabilities, epilepsy, and many others. I use different tests and tools to help you learn more about your own strengths and weaknesses, and then work with you to find strategies that may help you in school, work, or your daily life. I use a “flexible” battery approach, rather than doing “one size fits all” assessments. This means that I can target my assessment to help identify and investigate specific difficulties while keeping down costs.

I also do short-term and long-term adult psychotherapy, helping people with life stresses and transitions, depression, family of origin concerns, relationship difficulties, and many other life problems. My role is to be an objective partner in the therapeutic process - someone who will listen for patterns in how you think and act so that I can then help you recognize them and change them for the better. I can help you learn new tools and ways of thinking. I can help you decide what’s working for you, and what’s not. Additionally, as I also have a Masters degree in Theology, I am open and sensitive to issues concerning spirituality.
