Ali Hooman graduated with his Master of Arts Degree in the field of Educational Psychology in 1994, and his BA is in Clinical Psychology.  He is the former Dean of the Azad University of Art and Architectural. A tenured faculty member of the department of Psychology and Education that has over 15 years experience as a Lecturer of Psychology and Psychometrics in several Iranian Universities, for both undergraduate and graduate students.

Mr. Hooman completed his post graduate training program in Family Therapy with Living Systems Counselling, Education, and Training & Research which utilizes Bowen Family Systems Theory in Canada. In addition, being certified as a BC instructor, he is also a certified Biofeedback practitioner by the USA.

Over his years of clinical practice, he always offers clients a respectful and non-judgemental environment with confidentiality. He has two decades experience in providing phone to phone and face to face consultation, coaching families and couples.

He holds designation of:

• Canadian Counsellor Certification (CCC) with Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCCPA), Registered # 5125
• Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC), registered #3697

He believes Psychology is a science and prefers to use these scientific approaches in his practice such as: Biofeedback, Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, and coaching under the method of Family Emotional System (Living System).
