Anxiety is not the enemy; it’s the rigid avoidance of anxiety that’s preventing you from living a healthier, richer, and fuller life. Avoidance means you’re running away from the people, places, or situations that bring about unpleasant feelings. Avoidance is the leading factor responsible for turning anxiety, fear, and worry into serious physical and mental health problems. No amount of exercise, sleep, yoga, or anti-anxiety medication will help with avoidance behaviours.

EDUCATION
I hold a Master of Science degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Calgary. I’m a few months away from receiving my Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Alberta. I provide counselling in the following languages: English, French, and Persian (Farsi).
FEES AND THIRD PARTY BILLING
Fees are collected prior to the beginning of each session and may be paid by cash, Visa, MasterCard, or Interac. Personal cheques are not accepted. A receipt will be provided each session.
I’m an authorized counselling provider for the Crime Victim Assistance Program and ICBC. Direct billing is available to eligible clients.
