All Therapeutic Approaches > Relaxation Therapy
Relaxation therapy is often a component of other approaches or therapies. For example, Counsellors and Psychologists often teach relaxation techniques to people who are "processing" traumatic memories or who have chronic pain. Relaxation techniques are generally important for people who has pain and find that they are holding on to tension. In general, relaxation techniques are helpful for most people and can assist individuals to handle day to day stresses in a balanced way.
